Interpretive Master Plan
Phase One Construction

The scope of work included research, site planning, facility design, management and operations, visitor experience planning, exhibit design, and budget estimates. The $1.85 million facility opened in 2017 and was recognized with an Honor Award from the Middle Tennessee Chapter of the American Institute of Architects.

From 2013 through 2017, Encore led the interpretive and architectural design team to create the Fort Nashborough Interpretive Master Plan and to oversaw Phase One construction of the new Fort Nashborough History Center. The Cumberland Riverfront facility provides the city with a comprehensive venue for telling the story of early Nashville.
